African Bamelike Style Nudu ZZ-Top Billy Gibbons Hat Seller details

When I first saw the hat that Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top wears, I fell in love with it. My version of the African Cameroon Nudu Tribal Hat is stunning.
This is a grueling process: I begin with perforating small holes in a leather beanie cap. I take merino wool felt and dye into the color of your choice and roll into over a hundred little dreads. I weave each loc into the holes. This is one my most labor-intensive designs; this baby is constructed!!! This is not the actual hat. This hat is customed to your specific head size.
The time it takes to construct my NUDU is 4 to 6 weeks. Expect slightly longer turn around time during yearly holidays.

How to measure your head
1. Using a tape measure made of plastic or cloth, measure circumference of head just above top of ears and just above the brow. Make sure the tape lies midway on your occipital bone (the little bone in the middle of the back of your head).
2. Place the tape measure at the top center of your head and measure the distance to where you want the brim to place. This will give the crown depth. It is important that you provide these two measurements to get a perfect fit. Remember; please include your hair in both measurements. Don’t pull the tape too tightly; let it sit comfortably, i.e. how you’d like the hat to fit.
Each hat is steamed cleaned and wrapped in plastic to ensure a fresh and sanitary hat.
